1. Great River Road (Nearest Brookhaven, MS)

Great River Road is a journey that extends roughly 3,000 miles along the Mississippi River. It extends from the Gulf of Mexico all the way to northern Minnesota. It will take you roughly an hour to join the road from Brookhaven, and you can expect beautiful views of the river along this route.

This journey stretches around 13 miles alongside the Hancock County coastline. You can access a handful of historic districts using this road, including Gulfport, Pass Christian and Long Beach. Along the way, you’ll experience breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico, as well as various woodlands.

Stop off at Newhaven or Bay St. Louis for a taste of the finest beaches on offer in Mississippi. Alternatively, perhaps you’ll make a pit-stop at Buccaneer State Park to enjoy a round of golf or its 1.8-mile nature trail.

4. Biloxi Bay Bridge

A drive from Highway 90 along the Biloxi Bay Bridge will deliver more memorable views of the Gulf Of Mexico. Head east into Ocean Springs and cruise along Front Beach Drive if you enjoy the beach.
