The standard engine on the Sierra 3500 HD is a 6.6L V8 gas engine that offers 401 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 464 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm. This engine is paired with an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission.
For enhanced performance, there’s an available 6.6L V8 Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine. The Duramax engine provides 470 horsepower at 2800 rpm and 975 lb.-ft. of torque at 1600 rpm. This engine is also paired with an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission and supports a maximum towing capacity of 36,000 pounds!
Interior
The Sierra’s driver and front passenger seats have 4-way manual controls for optimal comfort. These seats are part of a 40/20/40 split bench that includes under-seat storage for small cargo, like tools and emergency essentials. The rear seat is a 60/40 split-folding bench that can be reconfigured for increased cargo space when necessary.
Exterior
