4 Local Favorite Pizza Places in Brookhaven, MS

Whether you live in or are visiting Brookhaven, you know that there is a fantastic selection of southern-style barbecue and Cajun restaurants. After all, that’s the kind of cuisine that the Deep South is famous for – but what about those nights where you’re craving something different, like pizza? While this type of food is hard to come by, there are a few places where you can satisfy your taste for authentic Italian without having to go too far.

1. Serio’s Pizzeria 

Located on Whitworth Ave in downtown Brookhaven, Serio’s Pizzeria is the best place in the area to enjoy New York-style pies fresh out of the oven. Pepperoni, buffalo, veggie, white, Margherita, and plain cheese are among some of your options here.

Each slice of buffalo has just the right balance of spices and bleu cheese and is sure to leave you feeling full after only a few pieces. The Veggie slices are loaded with fresh vegetables, including giant chunks of artichokes! Picky eaters will always be happy with a slice of plain cheese, as the crust is always thin in the middle and puffy around the edges! 

2. Fox’s Den

Another fabulous place to grab your favorite slice is Fox’s Den, which is located on West Monticello Street. From yummy thin-crust options to gourmet selections, you just might find yourself wanting to try them all. You can choose from 16″ by 16″ square-cut pies, 9″ personal pies, 30″ round pies big enough to serve 51, and all different sizes in between.

Gourmet toppings and styles include buffalo chicken, bacon cheeseburger, taco, barbecue chicken, Hawaiian, veggie, and more. Plus, if you don’t feel like eating by the slice, you could order a hot and steaming Italian-style Stromboli, a hot sub, or a tasty grilled panini stuffed with marinara, cheese, and your favorite toppings.
 

3. Domino’s 

If you’re craving some of the best deals on your favorite pies, you can always call up an order to your local Domino’s. With a fabulous selection of deep-dish, thin, and hand-tossed crust choices, you can mix and match all your favorite toppings to create your dream lunch (or dinner). 

They’ve also got pasta bowls, chicken wings, cheesy bread, and plenty of great local deals. If you don’t feel like going to pick it up, they will deliver it right to your door. Don’t forget to add your favorite two-liter of soda!

4. Georgia Blue

While Georgia Blue is a restaurant specializing in southern-style foods like fried pickles and crawfish, you could always order a handmade pie off their kid’s menu! While you won’t have a selection of gourmet options to choose from, like meat-lover or veggie, you can order one that comes with pepperoni or plain mozzarella cheese. Their pies are made with an 8″ crust and come with fries, chips, or a vegetable of the day.
