2. Bi-Cenntenial Park
Located off of Main street, this is another great park for both adults and kids. With another playground and a splash park, your kids will be entertained for hours while they play. A couple of pavilions provide the perfect picnic areas and restrooms are available as well. Bi-Cenntenial Park also has a meeting room and a quarter-mile trail that is lighted.
3. Bethel Park
Bethel Park can be found on Fulton St. Although a little smaller, it also has plenty of equipment for a great outdoor experience. Two pavilions provide plenty of picnic table seating area. There is a large basketball court with four hoops. The playground equipment is colorful with a wide array of activities for little ones as well as benches for parents. There is also a splash park.
4. Exchange Club Park
While this park is not open year-round, the Brookhaven Exchange Club Park Fair is so incredible it is always worth mentioning. Typically in late summer, the fair has all your favorite rides from Ferris wheels, merry-go-rounds, and even small roller coasters. There is lots of fun for the whole family.
5. Lake Lincoln State Park
If you are looking for an outdoor park with more quiet serenity, Lake Lincoln State Park is a great place. Just outside of Brookhaven in the towering hardwood trees lies Lake Lincoln. This is a fantastic park for hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, camping, and even disk golfing. With campsites and cabins, you can spend a day here or a whole week.
6. Mount Zion Bike Trail
With many, many miles of twisting trail through beautiful country, Mount Zion Bike Trail offers a great look through the area around Brookhaven. Many trailheads have fun, picture-worthy structures to enjoy. If you want to do the whole trail, you are allowed to camp primitively along the trail. Hikers and dogs are welcome as well.
